From the Desk of the Pastor
The Commandment of the Lord is clear!
"Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD alone!
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul,
with all your mind,
and with all your strength.."
We must also reflect that God loves us with all his heart, soul, mind and strength. His name is
JESUS!

Dear Parishioners,

The parish is on an incredible roll. In little over three weeks, Sacred Heart has raised over $900,000 in pledges. We have been truly blessed by those who have led the campaign through their service and financial gifts. The parish is extremely grateful to receive such gifts that are given in the spirit of love and gratitude to a God that has richly blessed everyone of us.

Even though the parish has made wonderful progress, we need the support of the entire faith community. I ask that those of you who have not yet responded to prayerfully consider a contribution to the campaign. We are already within $100,000 of our celebration goal of 1 million dollars but how close can we get to our challenge goal of l.4 million dollars and enable us to break ground in three years?

Our volunteers have been working tremendously hard to reach every Sacred Heart family. Please, continue to open your hearts and your doors to allow that communication to take place. Most parishioners have been truly grateful to have this dialog with our volunteers. Our pledge period ends within a couple of weeks, but we will continue to reach out for those who we were not able to visit with within our time frame. We feel this is such an important project and we would be doing a huge disservice by not meeting with you.

Today, we have before us a tremendous opportunity. An opportunity to provide our parish with an inspirational church and parish hall that will touch everyone in a unique way and honor our Father in heaven.

Again, thank you for your blessings and the future gifts that will help continue this journey.

God’s blessings,

Father David Hemann
Pastor
